We CAN do it!

Community Area Network

When applied to a Planned Community, the MangoNET approach produces out flagship product. This network which we call a Community Area Network (CAN) can be laid down in either an established or a new construction scenario equally well. CANs are ways of drawing communities closer together by providing them with shared infrastructure for communication and internet access. The above picture shows a 180 degree view of a typical CAN home. As a company we believe that the community should own its own infrastructure (Access Points & Firewalls) as an safety net on performance as well as a significant cost savings. As important to a CAN as the infrastructure are certain key value adds: a community website for communication from the POA Board to the residents as a group, an eMail Newsletter to inform the community of issues and events, individual eMail accounts for everyone who desires them, and “strength in numbers” defences against intrusion and Malware.

MANGONET will design and project manage the installation of a neighborhood wide internet services network. The monthly access fees can be included in the association fees. From delivery of high speed bandwidth to the home to turning the neighborhood pool into a Wi-Fi hot spot, we can help you realize your dream.
